This book (Part 2) present the histories of the following nineteen schools established since 1950:

Production of this major work was made possible through the wholehearted co-operation recieved from the schools concerned, and a few other contributions of special features. Each school has its own chapter identified by a title page which reproduces the school crest. Supplementing these school's histories are three feature articles: "The Educational Background 1914-1979" by Prof. N.D. Atkinson of the Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education, University of Zimbabwe; "Student Financing" by Mr G.P.L. English, lately of the Ministry of Education; and "The Audio Visual Services" by its present director, Mr R.H. Campbell.

It includes 480 photographs, and some 7550 students and staff are named in the text, in captions, in end-of-chapter Rolls of Honour (1968-1979), and in lists of School Heads, Head Boys and Girls, Captains of Games, Winners of Scholarships and Bursaries, etc.

The book is printed on best quality, heavy matt art paper, and is in a large format of 30 x 21,5 cm (12" x 8 ½"). The dark blue cover is richly silver-blocked with the title, and it has a complementary two-colour dust-jacket.
